Speed benchmark
With 1TB version and MacBook Air M1 I’m getting around 840 MB/s when connected directly to second USB-C port with original cable that cable in box with disk.
Seems good enough for Final Cut Pro video editing.
It should be faster but my MacBook doesn’t support USB 3.2 Gen 2x2.
